lue wave construction was established in 2011 by company directors John Swanston and Steve Davey, pulling together a wealth of over 50 years experience in the a variety of construction sectors.

John – having worked for regional and national construction companies – started life as an apprentice carpenter and joiner and working up through the ranks to a position of contracts manager.

Along the journey he has worked in most sectors of construction including housing for both private and social markets, refurbishments projects, new school buildings, healthcare, retail buildings to name a few.

Through his knowledge of construction activities, total insistence on quality and relationships developed with clients on contracts he has won many prestigious rewards including the special commendation award at the charted institute of buildings, build manager of the south west awards 2006 and local authority awards for quality.

Steve has worked locally for 25 years working on many prestigious projects, building up a client base including IMP, Wellington School, Wellington House Nursing Home, Chelston Park Nursing Home and numerous private clients. These customers continue to supply us with repeat business as they know what quality of workmanship to expect from us.

We also get many projects through word of mouth which is only made possible through leaving totally satisfied customers.

We are members on the Federation of master builders and the government trust mark scheme and warranties can be arranged for works carried out through FMB if required.

Blue Wave Construction can also deal with any design work, planning and building regulation applications on behalf of our clients to take away the hassle – from conception of the project through to handover of a quality job to the clients’ satisfaction.
